Doggy Doo Doo Crew

In preparation for our Dog Waste Awareness Month, the City of Lethbridge will be holding five dog park cleanups.

Join us every Thursday in May from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. to raise community awareness around the importance of picking up after your pet.

Thursday, May 1: Scenic Drive Dog Run (1107 6 Street South)

Thursday, May 8: Popson Park Off Leash Area (Entrance from 10 Street South)                   

Thursday, May 15: RiverStone Dog Park (4 Rivergrove Lane West)                                       

Thursday, May 22: Peenaquim Park Off Leash Area (Entrance from Stafford Drive North or Scenic Drive North)   

Thursday, May 29: Park ‘n’ Bark (Located at the corner of Stafford Drive North and Scenic Drive North)

Volunteers will help remove dog waste and leave a flag in its place to magnify the prevalence of this issue. These flags will stay up for two weeks to help educate the public on this issue.

Remember, there is no Poop Fairy! Your dog’s mess is your responsibility no matter where they do their doo doo.
