Some things don’t get better with age. Wine? Yes. Playgrounds? No. With that in mind, the City of Lethbridge is replacing the playground in Mt. Blakiston Park. The play area was installed in 1999 and has come to the end of its life cycle.

Repairs to a pedestrian ramp will impact motorists and pedestrians on University Drive West. 

The ramp, at the southeast corner of University Drive and Heritage Boulevard West, will be closed. All pedestrian traffic will be routed back one block, to Heritage Crescent West. 

A Lethbridge Mother's Day tradition continues in 2025. The Parks & Cemeteries team will, once again, offer complimentary roses to visitors at Mountain View Cemetery.
