Community Safety Strategy Committee
The Community Safety Strategy Committee (CSSC) is an administrative committee with the purpose to continue the work of the Downtown Lawlessness Reduction Task Force (DLRTF) and to support City of Lethbridge administration in positively contributing to advancing community safety by reducing social disorder and crime in the community through focusing on four pillars of community safety - Education, Intervention, Prevention, and Enforcement.

The Community Safety Strategy (CSSC) composition will be confirmed when the Terms of Reference is finalized.
Governing Documents
The Community Safety Strategy Committee's Terms of Reference is currently in draft form, and will be confirmed following the April 24, 2025 meeting.
The CSSC will ensure consideration of the previous work completed by the Downtown Lawlessness Reduction Task Force (DLRTF), including the 2024 DLRTF Recommendations Report.
