2023 Property Tax Notice and DBIA Assessment and Tax Notice Mail Out
What is this notice about?
On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, all property tax notices and DBIA assessment and tax notices will be mailed out.
If you have not received your property tax notice in the mail within 7 days of mail out date, please log into MyCity and register your property using your roll number and access code located on your Assessment Notice sent January 4, 2023. If you are unable to do this, please call 311 or email tax@lethbridge.ca.
Due to delays at Alberta Land Title Office, property owners may have taken possession of a property in the City of Lethbridge but not be registered on title yet. If this is the case and you have not received your tax notice, please contact 311 or come to City Hall for a copy. Proof of ownership will be required.
Late payment penalties will not be waived if you did not receive your Tax Notice.
All Property and DBIA taxes are due and payable June 30, 2023. Penalties will be applied on all outstanding tax balances as of July 1. See the back of your notice for penalty schedule and payment options.

Questions about how your DBIA assessment was calculated?
If your DBIA assessment concerns have not been resolved and you wish to make a complaint, you must file a separate Provincially legislated complaint form for each property to the following address:

Forms are available online at lethbridge.ca/arb or at the ARB office on the 2nd floor of City Hall.
Complaints must be filed with the Assessment Review Board Clerk by 4:30 PM, July 31, 2023, to be accepted.
