2025 Easter weekend service level changes

Friday, April 18 is Good Friday and Monday, April 21 is Easter Monday. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.

Lethbridge 311

The Lethbridge 311 contact centre and in-person at City Hall will be closed Good Friday and Easter Monday.

For urgent issues, a 24-hr trouble line is available by calling 311.

A 24/7 self-service site is also available at 311.lethbridge.ca to help with your questions.

City Hall

City Hall will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Waste and Recycling

The Waste and Recycling Centre and Blue Sky Centre will be closed on Good Friday. The Waste and Recycling Centre will open normal hours (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.) on Easter Monday.

Good Friday curbside collection will be moved to Saturday, April 19.

Pools & Arenas

Community Animal Services

Community Animal Services and the Lethbridge Animal Shelter will be closed on Good Friday and Saturday, April 19. The shelter will be open normal hours (9 a.m. – 6 p.m.) on Easter Monday.

The public can access services on the website at any time including dog licence payments, appointment booking, online complaint reporting and searching a list of found pets impounded at the shelter. For emergency animal control matters, call 403-320-4099.

Transit Service

Ride on Demand and Fixed Route transit schedules will run on Sunday service on Good Friday and will resume normal service on Monday.

Customer Service will be closed on Friday and Monday.

Access-A-Ride

Access-A-Ride booking and customer service will be closed on Friday and resume as normal on Monday.

Galt Museum & Archives/Fort Whoop-Up

The Galt Museum will be open from 1 – 5 p.m. on Good Friday and closed on Easter Sunday. The museum is closed every Monday.

Fort Whoop-Up is closed for the season and will reopen on Thursday, May 15.

Helen Schuler Nature Centre

The Helen Schuler Nature Centre will be closed on both Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Lethbridge Public Library

All branches of the Lethbridge Public Library will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
