Applications now open for 2024 Community Capital Projects Grant
Are you a not-for-profit organization? Could you use a financial boost for your capital construction projects?
If you answered ‘yes’ and ‘ABSOLUTELY!’… we have great news for you: the Community Capital Projects Grant (CCPG) is once again accepting applications!
Funding is available in two streams:
- Stream A covers professional services for planning and design phases.
- Stream B funds the actual construction, renovation or retrofitting of facilities. As a fun bonus, stream B can also be used to acquire major equipment or enhance facility technology.
All grant projects must also be eligible on a matched-grant basis, meaning the organization must be able to secure additional sources of funds to complete the project. One-half of approved Stream A project costs can come from CCPG (to a maximum of $25,000 per project) while one-third of approved Stream B project costs can come from CCPG (to a maximum of $200,000 per project). Eligible projects can only submit an application in one stream per grant funding period.
Some of the 2023 approved projects included:
- Aboriginal Housing Society: repairs to the siding and exteriors of the Koh Koonoon property, a new staircase lift and new hot water tanks.
TOTAL PROJECT COST: $75,195.00
