City Council seeks applicants for Subdivision and Development Appeal Board

The City of Lethbridge is looking for residents to join the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB), one of the many Boards, Committees and Commissions (BCC) that exist to make our city a better place.

This quasi-judicial board offers a unique opportunity for residents to contribute to the city’s present and future by playing an active role in important decisions that shape the community.

Applications will be open from January 2 to February 28, 2025.

In 2023, City Council introduced an honorarium policy for members of BCCs – demonstrating the value placed on public service in these roles.

Residents interested in applying are encouraged to review the BCC Toolkit and the list of BCCs for details on eligibility, term lengths, and meeting schedules.

The Office of the City Clerk oversees board-member recruitment, appointments, and training on behalf of City Council. For further information, contact the Office of the City Clerk through 311 or via email at committee@lethbridge.ca.
