• From a Closed Meeting report, Lethbridge City Council voted unanimously in favour of several directions to advocate in support of our local economy, specifically with recent actions regarding the potential impact of U.S. tariffs to the region. Read the full news release here
• Council voted 7-2 in favour on an Official Business Motion from Councillor Jenn Schmidt-Rempel on Membership on Inter-City Forum on Social Policy
• Council voted unanimously in favour of an Administration Submission to refer to the Lethbridge Police Commission a $10,000 one-time funding request for the year 2025 from Southern Alberta Crime Stoppers for one-time funding from the Lethbridge Police Service Operating Budget
• First reading was carried on an alternate motion for a Recommendation of Governance SPC - Bylaw 6454 Amendment to Council Code of Conduct Bylaw 6125. Second and third readings will to the February 25 Council meeting
