Engagement continues for 11 Street South revitalization

The City is continuing efforts to spruce up a portion of 11 Street South. The project envisions a vibrant and sustainable green corridor in the area between 3 Avenue and 4 Avenue. The revitalized block would connect the Warehouse District and Downtown.

The design plans focus on pedestrians and multi-modal movement. They also aim to support businesses and plan for future commercial frontage activation. Planned green infrastructure would help manage stormwater runoff and improve environmental sustainability.

Phase one engagement identified ideas around parking, safety and area improvement. Phase two seeks feedback on one-way and two-way development options. If you missed us at Community Conversation, residents and stakeholders can share their thoughts online until May 9, 2024.

The project team plans to complete final conceptual drawings by the end of summer.
