Father's Day Flowers

The City of Lethbridge Parks & Cemeteries team continues a cherished tradition this Father’s Day, honouring the memory of loved ones by gifting visitors a gerbera daisy.

Beginning in 2018, the cemeteries staff initiated the tradition of offering flowers on Mother’s and Father’s Day. The response was positive, and the visitors greatly appreciated this thoughtful gesture from the City.

The cemeteries staff are pleased to offer flowers to visitors this upcoming Father’s Day. As Father’s Day tends to be a busy day at the cemetery, staff want to help make the visit special.

Gerbera daisies are available to the first 250 visitors. The flowers can be picked up beside the Mountain View Cemetery office located at 1210 Scenic Drive South, on Sunday, June 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until they are gone.
