Background

Community growth, hospital demands and general traffic patterns have caused transportation pressures around Chinook Regional Hospital. This functional planning study is an opportunity to plan for all modes of travel for people of all ages and abilities while addressing local parking and road safety concerns.

The plan looks to identify current and future transportation needs and create a more vibrant, functional, safe and complete street network in the area serving the Chinook Regional Hospital and nearby neighbourhoods, including:

  • 10 Avenue South from Scenic Drive South to 43 Street South
  • 9 Avenue South from 4 Street South to Mayor Magrath Drive South
  • 17 Street South from 9 Avenue South to 10 Avenue South
  • 19 Street South from 9 Avenue South to 10 Avenue South

Your participation in this survey will help us identify and prioritize the cross-sections to inform corridor options and suggest additional improvements.
