Get ready to make a splash, spray parks are opening Friday!
Warm spring days are giving us a sneak preview of the summer months ahead. Beginning Friday at 10 a.m., the City’s three spray parks will be open.
The Legacy spray park, located in the north end of Legacy Park, is the largest spray park in the city. It features three circular splash zones divided into a tot area, family area and 5-12 years of age area.
Rotary Centennial Fountain, located in the southeast corner of Galt Gardens, features 97 jets which dance to lights and music. On calm days, the fountain can reach heights of 15 feet.
At Gyro spray park, located behind Nicholas Sheran Arena, whether running through the spray or standing under one of the many nozzles, there is fun for kids of all ages.
Spray parks are free of charge to all visitors at all locations.
Spray parks will remain open until the Labour Day long weekend in September, or as summer weather permits. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily for all three locations.
