Greenery Galore: Enhancing livability and sustainability on 11 Street South

Exciting things are sprouting in the 300 block of 11 Street South!

Vibrancy and connection are two of the visions behind planned changes to transform the portion between 3 Avenue and 4 Avenue South into a green corridor, connecting the Warehouse District and Downtown. The design features several benefits including additional tree canopy coverage, integrating sustainable stormwater management, supporting area businesses and creating a vibrant place for people.

For this project to truly blossom the City is seeking feedback from the community, including stakeholders in the project area who will be impacted by the work. The public is invited to an open house on Tuesday, February 13 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Culver Room at City Hall. Opportunities will be presented for input on potential streetscape design elements.
