Lane closures & lowered speed limit on Whoop Up Drive

On Thursday, October 19, crews will be working on the emergency gate on Whoop Up Drive. This work will require the inside lanes of both the westbound and eastbound lanes to be closed with the speed limit lowered to 60 kms/hr. Work will begin at 10 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 2 p.m., weather permitting.

As this road closure may impact a Lethbridge Transit route, please call 311 during business hours about possible stop closures and/or scheduling adjustments.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution in this area and follow posted detours.
