Learn to ride the bus with Lethbridge Transit

Calling all parents who are looking for a safe and cool way to chauffer their kids to their summer adventures!

Lethbridge Transit staff will be at the Lethbridge Farmers’ Market this Saturday sharing information and tips for first-time riders, or anyone wanting to learn more about using the public transit system.

From learning how to plan your trip to loading your bike on the bus bike rack, Transit staff are excited to show the community how easy it is to hop on board with Lethbridge Transit.

When: Saturday, July 20 from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: Lethbridge Farmers’ Market, UFA Hall, Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre

The Learn to Ride pop-up event is the first in a series Lethbridge Transit is hosting to promote community awareness and knowledge about public transit. Future events will be held at the Heritage Day event in Galt Gardens and at Whoop-Up Days in August.

As the end of July nears, it’s also the last opportunity to make the most of Lethbridge Transit's Youth Summer Pass. The discounted pass gives youth aged 6-17, a two-month Transit pass for the price of one. The pass can be purchased at City Hall or at the Park ‘N’ Ride terminal downtown.

Lethbridge Transit has been evolving over the past four years to provide a safer, faster and more efficient way for residents and visitors to get from A to B in Lethbridge. Download the Lethbridge Transit app and LT Fare Card app today to get on board!
