Legacy Park playground closing for repair

Warranty work will repair railings at the Legacy Park Discovery Playground. To ensure efficiency and safety, the playground will be closed and fenced off. The closure begins Monday, October 28 and will last for around two weeks.

Thankfully, residents have several other playgrounds and amenities to enjoy. Have you checked out the new playground at Chinook Lake Park? (It’s one of 113 maintained playgrounds across the city!) You can also explore the trails at nearby Alexander Wilderness Park or celebrate the contributions of women to the character and fabric of Lethbridge at Elizabeth McKillop Park. Find information about Lethbridge’s more than 130 parks and natural areas here.

More information on the Legacy Park Discovery Playground repair is available on the City’s WebMap. The WebMap is a dynamic online platform designed to enhance accessibility and streamline information for residents. The map provides residents with accurate and up-to-date information on road closures, facility closures and city projects and initiatives.
