Moonlight Run road closures

The annual Runner’s Soul Moonlight Run event is set to take place on Saturday, March 23.

To allow for organizers and runners to safely take part in the event, the following roads will be closed to traffic, beginning on Saturday morning:

• 8 Street South from 2 – 3 Avenue will be closed beginning at 8 a.m.;
• 3 Avenue South both eastbound and westbound lanes from Stafford Drive to Scenic Drive South and down to Indian Battle Park. This area will be closed beginning at 6 p.m.;
• 200 block of Scenic Drive South will be closed beginning at 7 p.m.;
• Vehicle access to Indian Battle Park will be closed beginning at 6 p.m.

Roads will be reopened as the event progresses with all roads expected to be reopened by 12:00 a.m. Click here for event details and more information.

As these road closures may impact Lethbridge Transit, please call 311 during business hours for any concerns. Transit users can also check route detours on the MyRide app for details.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution in this area and follow posted detours.
