Mother’s Day Flowers

This Mother's Day, the City of Lethbridge Parks & Cemeteries team is once again gifting a complimentary rose to visitors. It's a gesture aimed at honouring the memory of loved ones.

This tradition began in 2018, on both Mother’s and Father’s Day. Cemeteries staff received positive feedback and appreciation from visitors for the thoughtful token.

The team is delighted to bring back the program for this upcoming Mother’s Day. It is one of the busiest days at the cemetery and the initiative aims to enhance the visitor experience.

The first 300 visitors can collect their rose beside the Mountain View Cemetery office, located at 1210 Scenic Drive South. Roses are available on Sunday, May 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until they are gone.

The cemeteries staff will also be offering flowers on Father’s Day, which falls on Sunday, June 16.
