Northside vehicle fire under investigation

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a vehicle on fire at the 2800 block of 2 Avenue North at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.

Crews from three stations quickly extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings. An adjacent building sustained damage, but fire crews successfully protected the structure from becoming fully involved. 

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Damage is initially estimated at $125,000.
