Remembrance Day 2023 Service Level Changes

Information from the 20^th Independent Field Battery and the General Stewart Branch #4 of the Royal Canadian Legion regarding two concurrent 2023 Lethbridge Remembrance Day Services on Saturday, November 11:

• The 2023 Remembrance Day Parade and Service will be hosted by the General Stewart Branch #4 of the Royal Canadian Legion at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition in the Agri-food Hub and Trade Centre. Doors open to the public at 9 a.m. with seating completed by 10:30 a.m. The ceremony will start at 10:45 a.m.
• Another ceremony will take place beginning at 10:45 a.m. at the Cenotaph on Veterans Avenue (4 Avenue South) in front of the Yates Memorial Centre, which will include a scheduled fly-by from a Harvard aircraft. This year, there will also be more loudspeakers set up so attendees will be able to hear better.

City of Lethbridge Service Level Changes

Saturday, November 11, is Remembrance Day. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes on that day as well as on Monday, November 13.

Lethbridge 311

The Lethbridge 311 office will be closed on Monday, November 13. Our customer service specialists will return on Tuesday, November 14, at 8 a.m.

The Waste and Recycling Centre will be closed on Saturday, November 11, and open on Monday, November 13.

Community Animal Services

Community Animal Services will be closed on Saturday, November 11, and open on Monday, November 13. To ensure lost pets may be returned home, individuals are asked to contact the shelter at 403-320-4099 ahead of time and arrange a time to pick up their pet. Transit Service

Lethbridge Transit will be operating on Saturday, November 11, on the Holiday Schedule. Monday, November 13, will have regular service. More information here

ACCESS-A-Ride

ACCESS-A-Ride Booking and customer service will be closed on Saturday, November 11, but service hours will remain unchanged.

Galt Museum & Archives/Fort Whoop-Up

The Galt Museum will be open on Saturday, November 11 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., and closed on Monday, November 13. Fort Whoop-Up is closed for the season.

Helen Schuler Nature Centre

The Helen Schuler Nature Centre will be closed on Saturday, November 11, and closed on Monday, November 13.

Lethbridge Public Library

All branches of the Lethbridge Public Library will be closed on Saturday, November 11, and open Monday, November 13.
