Descriptions

This rate applies to all Residential Customers in Single Family Residential Premises, Multi-Family Residential Premises and Condominiums containing up to and including 6 Dwelling Units. These waste collection fees cover the costs of collecting and disposing of residential waste on a weekly basis. The fees also cover services that are available to the residents such as Free Saturday Disposal at the Waste & Recycling CentreLarge Item Service collection and the Clean Community initiative.

Residential Customers in Apartments and Condominiums with greater than 6 Dwelling Units can contract Waste Commercial Garbage Collection services from the City at the commercial rate, or from any other service provider. 

 

 

This rate applies to all Residential Customers. This covers the cost of the City's three Recycling Stations in addition to supporting other recycling programs like Fall Leaf Collection, Christmas Tree Recycling, Yard Waste Sites and the collection of Household Hazardous Waste. 

 

This rate applies to all Residential Customers. The Landfill Fee covers the payment of the landfill services and ownership of the landfill. 

 

This fee applies to all Residential Customers in Apartments and Condominiums that receive Waste Commercial Garbage Collection services from the City at the commercial rate, or from any other service provider. This fee is separate from any waste collection fees. The Waste Program fee covers services that are available to the residents such as Free Saturday Disposal at the Waste & Recycling Centre, Large Item Service collection and the Clean Community initiative.

 

There is a $100.00 Cart Change Administration fee for residents wishing to switch their automated cart size.  The $100 administration fee will also be applied to residents requiring an additional cart or needing to replace a lost/stolen cart.
