Reuse Rendezvous this weekend

Spring cleaning and decluttering this weekend? Looking to find some free treasures in unwanted items? Good news! Reuse Rendezvous is back!

The Environment Lethbridge event encourages residents to keep gently used items out of the landfill by free-cycling them to someone who could use them.

When – Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where – On your property, in front of your home.

How – Register for the event and see other locations where items will be up for grabs.

Any items remaining at the end of the day must be brought back in by the owner as the City does not collect these items.

The City will also be participating in the event this year with gently used office furniture and items available for collection by residents.

When – Saturday, May 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where – Civic Ice Centre, 905 6 Avenue South.

Details – Residents are asked to use the entrance on the north side of the Civic Ice Centre, next to the garage door. Parking is accessible from Stafford Drive. Be sure to bring extra hands and/or a dolly, as City staff will be unavailable to help with moving items.

The City’s event is open for Lethbridge residents only. For further details and information about the Reuse Rendezvous event, check out Environment Lethbridge’s webpage or social media feeds.
