Road Closures for Downtown Block Party Saturday

To accommodate the second annual Lethbridge Block Party on Saturday, June 15, the following road closures will be in effect starting at 7 a.m. that day:

• 6 Street South between 3 Avenue and 4 Avenue
• 3 Avenue South between 5 Street and 7 Street
• 4 Avenue South between 6 Street and 7 Street

Event organizers have sent notices to businesses and residents in the area.

The event itself will take place from 12 p.m. until 10 p.m. It will feature live music, beer gardens, a kids’ zone, food trucks and vendors. Roads will fully re-open late Saturday night.

The cycling lanes on 4 Avenue will remain open, with added signage for pedestrians to watch for cyclists.

Motorists are advised to drive with caution in this area and follow posted detours.
