Southside commercial fire under investigation

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a commercial structure fire at the 1400 block of 2 Avenue South at approximately 6:47 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

Crews from four fire stations arrived to find three vehicles and an adjacent commercial building engulfed in flames. Firefighters worked quickly to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading beyond the property.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Initial damage is estimated at $25,000.
