Step into a career with the City at our Summer Job Fair
Are you looking for an exciting new career opportunity this summer? Mark your calendars for our Summer Job Fair on Tuesday, March 11, at the Cavendish Farms Centre and Wednesday, March 12, online (virtually) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.!
This is your chance to meet members of our Public Operations teams, learn about our open labourer positions and interview on the spot.
What requirements/certifications do I need?
Anyone wanting to apply must have:
- A valid unrestricted Class 5 operator’s license with no more than five demerit points.
- A five-year commercial driver's abstract no older than 30 days. (Failure to provide this document will result in disqualification.)
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- The ability to work shifts and weekends as assigned.
How can I apply?
There are two ways to apply:
- Attend the Job Fair with your resume and driver's abstract (see requirements above) and be ready to impress!
- Apply for a position online via lethbridge.ca/careers. Once your submission is received, you'll receive an email with the following options to choose from:
- In-person interview: Attend our Job Fair on March 11 between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cavendish Farms Centre.
- Virtual Teams interview: Select an available time slot by clicking on the provided link.
Note: To be eligible for hire, you must choose one of the above options. If you've applied for multiple positions, you'll need to attend multiple interviews.

- On-the-spot interviews: Get ready to showcase your skills and experience.
- Meet our team: Connect with representatives from People & Culture, Water & Wastewater, Transportation and Parks & Cemeteries Operations.
- Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) will also be available to answer questions and discuss career opportunities but will not be performing on-the-spot interviews.
If you are reliable, responsible and bring your best to work every day, we want to hear from you. You don’t necessarily need prior field experience to work with us. Ultimately, we want to work with people who understand and are committed to gaining the trust and respect of our community.
