  • City staff reflect on supporting others during a raging wildfire season

    As the summer days wind down and autumn officially begins this weekend, Canada continues to experience its worst wildfire season ever recorded. Thankfully, our region has not had to contend with any major issues in 2023 – but several City of Lethbridge staff members have been training and preparing should a worst-case scenario reach our community.

  • Pickleball enthusiasts “relish” the completion of new courts

    Catering to the ever-increasing popularity of the sport, the City of Lethbridge is excited to officially open six more pickleball courts.

  • Public Hearing - Bylaw 6417 - 2802 5 Ave N

    The parcel would be rezoned to exclude the landscaping requirements, the site plan, and the landscaping plan found in Bylaw 6177. Bylaw 6417 carries forward the currently allowed Uses and most of the development requirements.

  • Public Notice - Outline Plan Amendment

    Civic Works Standing Policy Committee will be considering the amendment to the Watermark Outline Plan.  The updated plan provides guidance on how land is used, serviced, and accessed to be more efficient and meet current market demands.

  • Planned power outage - 7 Avenue & 1 Street South

    On Thursday, September 21 the City of Lethbridge will be completing a planned power outage along 7 Avenue and 1 Street South beginning at 9 a.m. The outage is expected to be completed by 4 p.m. This outage will affect approximately 15 residents'.
