Downtown Lawlessness Reduction Task Force

The Downtown Lawlessness Reduction Task Force is a sub-committee of the Safety & Social Standing Policy Committee. With the purpose of collaboration on the development of a cross-functional task force that will:

  • Identify the impacts of lawless behaviours on the city,
  • Identify key stakeholders to strategize with,
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify solutions,
  • Provide recommended solutions for action, and
  • Consider how the task force can support and/or integrate with existing strategies within the City of Lethbridge

Meetings

The Downtown Lawlessness Reduction Task Force meets every other Thursday in person in Council Chambers.

All meetings are open to the public. If you would like more information about an upcoming meeting, contact committee@lethbridge.ca or 311.

The Committee may invite external experts to present information on a specific topic.
