Yates Memorial Centre
The Yates Memorial Centre, located at 1002 - 4th Avenue South, is a vibrant community theatre owned and operated by the City of Lethbridge. The facility is available for rental events and activities, and is home to Lethbridge's only professional theatre company, New West Theatre. The Yates Theatre has a capacity of 474 and the Sterndale Bennett Studio Theatre has a capacity of 162. There are hotels and motels, as well as a wide variety of restaurants, all within walking distance of the theatre. Parking is available on the street and in several adjacent lots. During the day there are various restrictions on parking, including time limits and coin meters. All parking is free after 4:00 p.m. weekdays and anytime on weekends.
