    Interwoven Legacies at Logan Boulet Arena

    The legacy of Logan Boulet is now on full display at the Lethbridge arena bearing his name. Logan passed away on April 7, 2018, of injuries sustained in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash. By donating his organs, Logan saved six lives. His selfless act led to the “Logan Boulet Effect.” Canadian Blood Services estimates 150,000 people registered as organ donors in the weeks following Logan’s donation.

    Nestled in the heart of Lethbridge’s River Valley, the Helen Schuler Nature Centre is showcasing the importance of play. The Nature of Play exhibit guides participants along a series of interactive activities designed to show how play is different than other physical and mental activities.

    Arena refrigeration plants get cool upgrades

    The City of Lethbridge’s Facility Services department has modernized the City’s arena refrigeration systems, bringing them out of the ice age and into the present day.

    Beginning in 2019, arena refrigeration plant replacements and upgrades occurred at several facilities.

    Ruptured water pipe closes Servus Sport Centre

    Due to a ruptured water pipe inside the Servus Sport Centre, the building is closed to the public and all activities and bookings for today, January 15th, have been cancelled.

    Lethbridge has four designated skating areas. Ice conditions are checked at least once a week. Ice surfaces will be closed if conditions are unsafe for users. Ice conditions can change depending on temperature, precipitation, wind and the amount of sunshine. With Lethbridge's varying winter temperatures, it is important to stay safe and informed.
