Call for community wellbeing proposals due next week

Eligible individuals, community not-for-profit organizations and for-profit organizations have one week left to submit proposals for funding for initiatives aligned with the Community Wellbeing Call for Proposal (CFP) and Community Wellbeing and Safety Strategy (CWSS).

The City’s 2024 funding distribution process closes at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. There are three sources of funding available for eligible applicants:

  1. Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) – Provincial funding

  1. Reaching Home (RH) Indigenous and Designated Communities Streams – Federal funding

  1. City of Lethbridge Municipal funding

Lethbridge is changing, and our strategies must evolve to meet these new challenges and community needs. An update of the Community Needs Assessment and the Community Wellbeing and Safety Strategy (CWSS) has been completed and will be used as a guiding document. The CWSS outlines community needs, gaps in services, priority populations, and other strategic actions.

Eligible applicants are strongly encouraged to read the Proposal Guide in detail before completing the online application form

Eligible applicants can find all the information about the process at lethbridge.ca/csd. Applications close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
