Road and Facility Closures

A major watermain replacement project is entering its final stage!

The work will impact the area surrounding the 200 Block of 11 Street South.

Two separate projects will see lane closures along Whoop-Up Drive and Scenic Drive South in the coming days.

Travel to west Lethbridge may be slightly delayed by alternating lane closures on westbound Whoop-Up Drive early next week.

Electrical work is interrupting traffic along a small stretch of Scenic Drive South.

Crane activity will once again require temporary traffic and pedestrian adjustments along Stafford Drive South on Saturday, April 18.

Ahead of this year’s maintenance work, further site evaluation work will create some temporary partial lane closures on Whoop-Up Drive Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A small portion of 5 Avenue North is closed as crews perform new water service installation.

Traffic and pedestrian access along a portion of Stafford Drive South will be limited Saturday morning due to crane work.

Effective immediately, the northbound lanes in the 500 Block of Stafford Drive North are closed. 

Two-way traffic is being maintained in the southbound lanes of Stafford Drive, between 5 Avenue and 7 Avenue North. 

The 2026 Runner’s Soul Moonlight Run is taking place Saturday, March 21. Some roads and transit routes will be impacted.
