City opens funding opportunity to support preventing and reducing homelessness
The City of Lethbridge has opened a call for proposals to support projects that address identified gaps in the city, specifically focusing on preventing and reducing homelessness.
This funding is made possible through the Federal Government’s Reaching Home Program, a community-based initiative focused on preventing and reducing homelessness across Canada.
The focus of this call is for organizations and projects seeking one-time investments including purchases of materials and equipment that align with the eligibility of the Reaching Home Program, as well as with the priorities outlined in the Community Wellbeing and Safety Strategy (CWSS), Municipal Housing Strategy (MHS), and Needs Assessment.
If your organization is ready to tackle challenges and create meaningful change, this is your chance to secure funding.
Check out the Reaching Home 2024-25 Call for Proposal Application Guide for full details on eligibility, criteria, timelines and how to apply.
Submit your proposal by 4 p.m. on January 10, 2025. To learn more about the funding opportunity apply, head to lethbridge.ca/CSD or click here.
