Environment Blitz Days!

Get ready for an environmental education! The City of Lethbridge Parks & Cemeteries and Water, Wastewater & Stormwater teams are gearing up for three days of teaching and action. The events will feature opportunities for residents to learn about environmental programs and participate in family friendly activities.

The event will feature education about:

·       Adopt-A-Storm Drain

·       Yellow Fish Road

·       Aquatic invasive species

·       Adopt-A-Park

Participants can learn about the importance of keeping storm drains clear of debris and pollutants. Art is also on the agenda, with the painting of yellow fish by storm drains. Details on the Adopt-A-Park initiative to keep the community clean will be discussed, and a park litter cleanup is also planned. 

Join us from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on:

Tuesday, June 18 – Firelight Pond, 64 Firelight Way West

Tuesday, July 16 – Chinook Lake, 265 Bluefox Boulevard West

Tuesday, August 20 – Coulee Creek Park, 465 Coulee Creek Boulevard South

All three events are weather permitting and will not run if it is raining.
