  • Downtown fire Sunday morning

    Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to 712 2 Ave S. for a report of a fire in the garbage containers at about 3:40 a.m. Sunday, January 7.

  • 2024 Community Event Support Grant accepting applications

    The City of Lethbridge continues to support not-for-profit organizations with the 2024 Community Event Support Grant (CESG).

    The program provides financial support for new and existing events that enhance the quality of life for the residents of Lethbridge, contribute to the culture of the community, create affordable entertainment and provide economic benefit to the City.

  • Road Closure in 1200 block of 6 Avenue South

    There will be a partial road closure in the 1200 block of 6 Avenue South beginning Thursday, January 4 so crews can complete patching work.

  • Partial lane closure on Whoop-Up Drive cancelled

    The partial road closure in the westbound lanes on Whoop-Up Drive near the University Drive exit, originally scheduled for Wednesday, January 3 to facilitate the replacement of light post, has been cancelled.

  • Property assessment notices being mailed this week

    Property assessment notices were mailed today to all residential and commercial property owners. Property owners signed up for eNotices will receive their assessment notice by email at the email registered to their MyCity account. 

  • Road Closure - 6 Avenue South

    Residents and motorists are advised that 6 Avenue South is closed between 10 and 11 Street South to complete an emergency water main repair.

  • Lethbridge Fire & EMS conduct coulee rescue

    Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services were called out to Pavan Park area this afternoon after two residents were unable to hike out of the coulees.
