Quick-thinking neighbours helped limit damage during a north Lethbridge house fire Tuesday evening. 

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a residential structure fire on Tuesday, June 24, in the 1500 block of 7 Avenue North.

Vandalism at Legacy Park has led to unauthorized sprinkler use, even during rainfall, by individuals tampering with irrigation controls. Lock boxes are being installed to prevent further damage, and the City remains committed to responsible water use.

Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for Lethbridge, calling for heavy precipitation amounts of between 50 mm to 100 mm, as well as and strong winds, from today to Sunday afternoon. We have several reminders to help residents prepare for heavy rainfall events.
