The City of Lethbridge Parks department is excited to introduce Tuesday Trail Tips. The weekly series shares useful tips and fun facts about Lethbridge’s trail and pathway network.

This week is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. We’re proud to recognize the Emergency Communications Officers in our PSCC who answer over 138,000 calls a year for Lethbridge and 22 nearby communities.

The PSCC was recently re-accredited as a Fire Accredited Centre of Excellence — one of just 63 worldwide.

The City of Lethbridge is warning the public about a payment scam circulating on Facebook regarding purchasing an ‘unlimited travel smartcard.’

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to two residential structure fires in the 1200 block of Pacific Circle West on Saturday, April 14. 

Twenty firefighters from five stations arrived to find both homes fully engulfed in flames. Crews worked in challenging wind conditions to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading beyond the two affected properties.
