    Not-for-profit organizations are being urged to complete their applications for the 2024 Community Capital Projects Grant (CCPG) ahead of the March 31 deadline. The Grant provides financial assistance for non-profits to construct, renovate or retrofit facilities, or purchase major equipment required for effective operation of community facilities and services.

    On Tuesday March 19, the City of Lethbridge will be completing a planned power outage along the back lane between Normandy Road South and Corvette Crescent South. The outage is expected to be in effect between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and affect approximately eight properties.

    Tails are wagging at the Lethbridge Animal Shelter, as dogs enjoy a new outdoor space. A 420-square-metre fenced dog run is now allowing resident canines to exercise, play and interact with one another in a more natural setting.

    Starting today Friday, March 15, 23 Street North from 26 Avenue to Meadowlark Boulevard will be closed in both directions due to a sewer service repair. This closure is expected to last until at least Monday, March 18.
