  • Celebrate Environment Week by planning for the future

    The City of Lethbridge is celebrating Environment Week from June 4 – 10 by inviting residents to take part in planning for the future.

    The Climate Adaptation Strategy and Action Plan survey is now open for residents to provide their feedback on how we can adapt to changing climates in Lethbridge.

  • Environment Week: Celebrating our Urban Forest

    As a city in the heart of the prairies, trees are not naturally occurring, apart from Cottonwoods in the River Valley. Through continuous education, care and dedicated management, Lethbridge has an urban forest we are very proud of. Lethbridge has an impressive tree canopy with over 47,000 public trees in parks and open spaces and at lease the same number of private trees.

  • Road Closure Barrier
    Road Closure - 2 Avenue South

    Water main replacement work begins this morning along 2 Avenue South between Scenic Drive and 5 Street South. This will temporarily close sections of the road as work is completed.

  • Road closure – Red Crow and Jerry Potts Blvd. intersection

    Motorists are advised the east side of the intersection at Red Crow and Jerry Potts Boulevard West will be closed starting Monday, June 5.

  • Road Closure Barrier
    Road closure – Scenic Drive North & Highway 3

    Motorists are advised the outside southbound lane of Scenic Drive North at the Highway 3 turn-off area will be closed beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 5 for approximately 5 hours.

  • Collect your complimentary compost

    If your garden or lawn is looking for a little boost, be sure to come and collect your free compost at two events over the next week.

  • Bylaw 6403 - 1730 10 Avenue S

    This amendment will allow the continued use of Assisted Living Residential Care Facilities and Supportive Living Residential Care Facilities without the age restrictions that exist today that allow only seniors to be housed at this location.

     

  • Annual road milling and repaving 2023 – Phase 1

    The annual road maintenance program for the City of Lethbridge includes road milling and paving which begins today, May 31.

  • Bylaw 6402 - 618 6 Ave S

    This amendment will allow the existing single detached dwelling to be converted to a personal services use.
