    What is a tiny home?

    There is no universal definition for a tiny home.​ The Land Use Bylaw does not draw a distinction between home sizes and there is no special rules for tiny homes. A tiny home on a permanent foundation is considered a single detached dwelling. A tiny home on a chassis and placed on a temporary foundation with connections to utlity services is considered a manufactured home.

    Who approves the location of cell towers?

    Telecommunications is vital to the national economy and security and is thus the jurisdiction of the Federal Government. Cell tower locations are approved by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISEDC for short, formerly Industry Canada). Cell tower locations are not approved by the local municipality.  In June 2016 the Supreme Court of Canada re-affirmed that municipal governments have no jurisdiction in the approval of cell tower locations.
