  • Bylaw 6407 - Amendment to Bylaw 6296 Clean Energy Improvement Tax Bylaw

    This Bylaw amends bylaw 6296 the Clean Energy Improvement Tax Bylaw to remove annual caps on funding the program, allowing more property owners to have access to funding sooner. It does not change the overall program spending limit.

  • Road Closures for Patching and Paving

    Road closures begin on July 26, on the following roads:

    • 13 Street South, from 6 Avenue to 7 Avenue
    • 3031 2nd Ave N (30th block)
  • Partial Lane Closure – 1 Avenue South/ 7 Street South

    The road at the intersection of 1 Avenue South and 7 Street South will experience partial road closures for road patching. This work will begin at 8:00 am on July 25 and is expected to be completed in one or two days.

    • 1st Ave S will have two-way traffic in the Westbound Lanes.
    • Traffic leaving Park Place Mall will be maintained.
    • 7th St S will be detoured onto 2nd Ave S

    Motorists are advised to expect delays, drive with caution in this area, and follow posted detour signs.

     

  • Additions coming to Fee Assistance Program

    Program expands to incorporate the existing refugee bus pass program and Access-A-Ride options.

  • Road Closure Barrier
    Lane Closures – 13th Street South

    Effective July 24 - 25, there will be partial lane closures along 13 Street South, from 4 Avenue to 5A Avenue for overlay paving.

  • Roll on over to the Wade Galloway Skate Park Grand Renaming Event

    Join us tomorrow, July 22, to celebrate the Wade Galloway skate park grand renaming event. The celebration, located at the corner of Mayor Magrath Drive South and Parkside Drive South, begins at 11:30 a.m.

    Effective July 24 - 26, there will be partial lane closures along westbound Whoop Up Drive for bridge maintenance.

    No open fires allowed in the city's river valley.
