    Recognizing Lethbridge City Council’s first year in office

    ​It's been 365 days since Mayor Blaine Hyggen and Councillors Mark Campbell, Jeff Carlson, Belinda Crowson, Rajko Dodic, John Middleton-Hope, Nick Paladino, Ryan Parker and Jenn Schmidt-Rempel took their oath of office and formed the current Lethbridge City Council.

I extend my congratulations to Premier Danielle Smith on her victory in the leadership race. Our Lethbridge City Council looks forward to working with her and her team in continuing to find opportunities to advocate for the residents of Lethbridge.

    Council receives update on potential future third vehicle bridge

    ​Residents may recall they were asked a non-binding ballot question, during last October's Municipal Election, about if building a third vehicular traffic bridge in Lethbridge should become a municipal capital project priority.

    On Tuesday, Lethbridge City Council voted unanimously to accept an Administration Submission on the Third Bridge River Crossing Review as information.

Our 311 specialists can assist with getting rid of that old beer fridge, what to do with yard waste, fixing potholes, streetlights, broken trees and much, much more! Residents rely on 311 to get answers and now contacting them is easier than ever. Today, we are proud to launch 311Chat, a live online chat available on lethbridge.ca and 311.lethbridge.

    Allows single detached dwellings on the sites that are proposed to be rezoned to Comprehensively Planned Low Density Residential (R-CL), and single detached homes containing secondary suites on the sites that are proposed to be rezoned to Mixed Density Residential (R-M).
