    Oliver Block designated as Municipal Historic Resource

    ​Lethbridge City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to designate a new Municipal Historic Resource. The two-story Oliver Block, located at 316 5 Street South, will become the latest addition to the City of Lethbridge's Heritage Register.

    Thank you, Lethbridge! Following the parade on Tuesday, Mayor Blaine Hyggen celebrated the return of Whoop-Up Days with the first Mayor's Community Barbecue. Thanks to a group of sponsors, 1,300 people outside Lethbridge City Hall on 4 Avenue were fed a free lunch.

Today, the City of Lethbridge is thrilled to officially open the second phase of Legacy Park, the regional north destination for residents and visitors. Phase 2 amenities include a spray park, discovery playground, pavilion and picnic shelter.
